Greater Success Ohio (GSO) was proud to partner with Dr. Lizzie Bronte of the Just Like You Global Foundation and Aminata Camara of the N’Daye Fatou Foundation to host a special International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The free community event welcomed over 100 women from six different countries, coming together in a powerful display of womanhood, motherhood, and unity.
The event kicked off with a Financial Empowerment Session hosted by KeyBank, offering insightful discussions on wealth management, home ownership, and how to start and grow small businesses. It was a powerful and practical session, equipping women with tools to take charge of their financial futures.
Throughout the day, attendees engaged in heartfelt table talks and group share-outs centered around real-life topics such as overcoming adversity, navigating autism within the family, embracing self-care, and preserving ethnic languages and cultural heritage. These conversations created a supportive space for connection, healing, and growth.
Of course, no celebration would be complete without joy — and the afternoon ended with a lively dance party that brought everyone to their feet, united in rhythm and laughter. It wasn’t just a party—it was a tribute to the strength, resilience, and beauty of women around the world.
At its core, the event honored not just the women in the room, but women everywhere—those who are often the silent heroes and nurturing forces behind the next generation.
